Refinishing and Restoration

September 2009 Mcguire Desk~ Off to school and back to the books, this desk had seen its better days. Years of no environmentally controlled environment took its toll on this desk. It had to be totally repaired and reglued/nailed and put back together but now it is ready for many years of enjoyment and studying to come. We hope Jo Anns granddaughter does well in her college career. Randy even took the time to refinish the back of the desk so that if it sits in the middle of the room it is beautiful from all sides.
June 2009 Roye Family Trunk ~ this trunk traveled the world and was a home for mud dabber wasps nest to see it now is truely amazing. It now sits in the entryway of the John Roye home a gift of love and history from his daughter Shannon Roye of Stigler.
Aug 2008 Childrens Toychest ~ adding storage, seating and a step to the bed for toddlers this childrens trunk was a perfect birthday gift. Stencils can be used to match any decor.
March 2008 JoAnn McGuire wanted to save her mothers round oak quaker style table. Unfortunately the top had been severely damaged over time and at some point years ago a lamanate top was glued on. Removing the top it was discovered there was no wood to refinish or save. JoAnn purchased a copper top from Mexico, Randy refinished and repaired the rest of the table. Fitted the underside of the copper top to give you the new modern antique ~ preserving family history while adding modern function and design.
2006 Dresser JoAnn McGuire wanted to refinish the above dresser for her mother. It had wax and water rings and had years of use and abuse. Her mother was in the nursing home and was suffering with alzheimerz. I believe it was Mothers day and Randy was just about finished with the dresser but it was airing before he put it back together. Jo Ann had brought her mom home for a visit and they stopped off to see the dresser. JoAnns mother cried as she looked at it and said that is MY DRESSER. It brought tears to all our eyes, obviously if she recognized it he got something just right.
